Nature Club

The OCMS Nature Club provides students with amazing opportunities to explore nature through a scientific lens.  
After-school meetings include hiking trips, ecology activities, prize drawings and free stickers.  
Nature Club also sponsors field trips to the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont in Tennessee, and Pine Mountain Settlement School in Eastern Kentucky.  On these trips, students explore stream ecology,  local ecosystems, while building lasting friendships, leadership, and concern for conservation of our environment.

Eligibility: Any interested OCMS student

Cost: Free 
            Trips are additional:
            Pine Mountain trip in the Fall - TBD
            Tremont trip in the Spring - $350
